THE DIMORPHODON PTERODACTYLES

THE DIMORPHODON PTERODACTYLES

The Dimorphodon is of the Pterodactyles family, it lived in Europe during the early Jurassic. It had a 4 feet wingspan, deep, wide jaws and a diamond-shaped flap at the end of its long tail, probably used to manuever and often imitated in scienec fiction illustration. The few Dimoephodon fossiles which have been found show large voids in its skull which lightened its huge head.
