Climate is a type of machine that’s tells whether, now this whether is changing, now is more hot &dry that before. Now climate is like a greenhouse. the level of the oceans is going up, because the ice is melting.

The carbon dioxide produced by car, factories and burning oil, gas and coal holes the atmosphere and it makes a layers and the hot can’t go out. And the consequences of this, are that the climate is more hot & dry, the weather is going more violent , many animals lose her house and will extinguish many animals.

GLOBAL WARMING

What is happening?

The earth’s climate is seems to be heating up much much faster than can be explained be the sun making more heat.

It is the global warming or climati change.

Why?

Most of the people of our planet don’t respect anything (the plants, the air...).

Now, the planet are contamination and old this conatmination create a layer that does not let the heat go, and the temperature of the earth increase.

            It is the greenhouse effect.

   But what happen if things continue like this?

The ocean’s level will rice up, because the ice at the poles will desapear, it mealt.

And us, the people of the world too desapear with a big part of species of the planet because we don’t bear the extrem temperatures.

What can we do?  How can we prevent this?

We can: save water and reduce the use of cars.

We must: respect the forests and don’t foul the water.

We mustn’t: produce both CO2.

GLOBAL WARMING

The Earth’s climate seems to be hotting up much muh faster that can be explained by te sun making more heat. The reason seems to be people and our machines. Almost all machines use oil, gas or coal, burning that fuels, produce pollution. Much of this is a gas called carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide produces the same effect as a greenhouse. The gas makes a layer that covers the atmosphere and does not let the heat go when it is in the Earth, so, the temperatures increase. But we need carbon dioxide, the problem is the quantity; too little means we’d freeze, and too much means we’d boild. Global warming have many consequences; there’s many animals that cannot live without cold, they need ice and cold water to survive. What concerns us is that the habitats of those animals are desapearing, the artic sea ice gets less every year and the great frozen continent of Antartica is losing ice too. It will affect people ! All the ice that melts will start to fill up the oceans hand make them overflow on land. Many cities will be flooded, and poor people are who will suffer most. Other problem is that nasty deseases like malaria are starting to spread, because the changing climate favours the mosquito.

The biggest problem is that we can help to prevent global warming, and we arn’t doing all we can do. There’s many simple things that will give a lot of help to our planet.

What's going on?

The whole Earth is warming up because of all the contamination we produce by factories, cars, machines that produce CO2 that goes directly to the atmosphere. This is the principal cause of the greenhouse effect ; the atmosphere is  a thick layer that lets the rays of the son and warmth come in but not come out. The warmth of the sun is melting the polar ice caps and will raise the ocean levels, which will flood low level land. There will be less land to us to live on. Diseases will spread especially malaria and TB due to the increase in mosquitoes.

The weather will become more violent and unpredictable.  Deserts are increasing and the Great Plains of America will get drier. Rain will be heavier in other parts of the world and there will be more floods.

It is not fair because heavy industry is causing the most pollution but they will not change as they want to sell more products. This affects everybody else’s lives.

 

The Kyoto Conference was a meeting to try and decide what to do about climate change. The biggest polluters, North America, China, Australia and Europe took part.

 

Change the way you act to make a difference; how you can help:

Must: Reduce water consumption and pollution

Must: Use public transport or walk when possible

Must: Choose energy efficient products

Must: Recycle, re-use and reduce

Mustn’t: Choose over-packaged articles

The earth is in grave danger due to pollution from cars, factories. All this means that the atmosphere has a layer of pollution that causes the sun’s rays enter the earth but do not let out and as a consequence this brings the temperature of the earth increases, till the point that glaciers are smelting and sea level rises i many cities as London, New Orleans, bangkok, barcelona may end up flooding.If sea level rises people will be in danger because reaching new disease and poor countries will have many problems while rich countries are taking steps to survive. If the heat of the earth continues to increase causing hurricanes and tropical storms.

 

CLIMATIC CHANGE

One of the cause of climatic change is the pollution (carbon dioxides) that we produce everyday. This pollution goes to the atmosphere and it make a laser and the heat can’t go out. All the gas traps the neat from the Sun, puting Earth into a greenhouse. The principal countries that cause the pollution are North America, Europe and Australia.

All these things will create more changes. The weather is going to get more violent and undpredictable.The level of the water will increase. Human deseases like malaria and TB will speed. Poor cities will be flooted. A lot of animals will die, like penguins. Penguins, like ice without very cold water and ice, they get too hot, and then, they will die.

To protect the planet:

We must reduce Carbon Dioxid, buy local food and organic, ride a bycicle, use solar energy, recycle.. We mustn’t use too much oils, coal or fuels, use only if is it necessary the plane and the car.. We can walk or ride bikes inslead of using the car.

-       IF you use texts from the Internet and copy them, you MUST write also the source where it comes from.

-       EVERY article or text must be signed by the author (NAME AND SURNAME).

-       EVERY magazine MUST have all the following sections:

o   2 articles

o   1 interview

o   2 biographies

o   Healthy diet for a sportsperson

o   2 letters from the reader

-       You may also use the following sections to fill up the space:

On Thursday you may bring ANY material you want (pictures printed from the internet, pieces of other magazines...) BUT remember ALL the text must be in ENGLISH.

Titles for the pictures (captions)

Write two titles (captions) for each photography. One must be in Present Simple and the other one in Present Continuous.

 

Example:

Arnau is looking for some records in a small shop in Amsterdam.

Arnau likes listening to music, specially to old vinyl records.

 

Try to make the sentences as long and descriptive as you can.

Find new pictures you like for your magazine and post the link in your blog.

Write two more captions for every picture you post (pictures without captions will not be available for the magazine!!)

Ricard Rubio Vives, are also called Ricky. She was born in 1990 in El Masnou, Barcelona. He are a spanish professional basketball player. Rubio are the youngest player ever to play in the Spanish ACB League. His began in 2005. He was 1.93 m tall. Rubio play the point guard position for DKV Joventut in both the ACB and the Euroleague. The Euroleague are the most important competition for professional players apart from NBA. Ricky Rubio has an idol. Her idol is Pau Gasol.
